Another 8 Tracks Are Coming to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Game as DCL in December 2022

The latest Mario Kart 8 Deluxe trailer is out with the promise of the imminent release of Wave 3 of the Booster Course Pass scheduled for December 7, 2022. It has been three months since the release of Wave 2 downloadable content, and now players once again get a chance to relive some of the best Mario game experiences. Wave 3 DLC will be free for Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack subscription owners or available as a paid standalone product priced at $24.99.

As it was with the first Booster Course Pass wave, the December release will present two new cups of four tracks each. The Rock Cup features GBA Boo Lake from Mario Kart: Super Circuit, the famous retro racetrack from Mario Kart 7 3DS Rock Rock Mountain from Mario Kart 7, the maple forest-based track Maple Treeway from Mario Kart Wii, and Tour London Loop from Mario Kart Tour. The Moon Cup is going to be a real treat for the fans of the Tour Berlin Byways and Merry Mountains tracks from Mario Kart Tour, DS Peach Gardens from Mario Kart DS, and 3DS Rainbow Road from Mario Kart 7.

Nintendo will continue bringing new DLC to its Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game throughout 2023. With 16 more courses yet to come, the company will have introduced a total of 48 remastered cups and tracks from the most successful past installments in its acclaimed racing game series by the end of next year.

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe title became the top-selling game in the entire franchise in 2021. The most notable feature of the original Mario Kart 8 game was anti-gravity panels that allowed players to enter zero gravity mode and create alternate moving paths. The game also featured all-terrain vehicles, as well as the Koopalings, Baby Rosalina, and Pink Gold Peach as playable characters.
