Grand Theft Auto V, often abbreviated as GTA V, is the most recent entry in the globally acclaimed Grand Theft Auto video game series. The game's development was carried out by Rockstar Games, who also took on the roles of publisher and distributor, in collaboration with Take-Two Interactive. It was originally launched for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles on September 17, 2013. GTA V is a blend of open-world exploration, stealth, and action-adventure gameplay elements, all experienced through a third-person perspective. The game features three main characters - Michael, Trevor, and Franklin, all of whom are alumni from previous Grand Theft Auto games. Players can leisurely explore the expansive open world in between missions. The game world, which includes three significant cities (Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas), is considerably larger than that of Grand Theft Auto IV, which encompassed Liberty City and its outskirts.

Gameplay

The game takes place in the fictional state of San Andreas, which consists of three metropolitan cities: Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas. The narrative focuses on three outlaws and their endeavors to carry out robberies, all the while dealing with the stress of being pursued by a government entity. The game features three playable characters. The player can switch between these characters, and take part in missions from either a first-person or third-person perspective.

The gameplay is mostly centered on driving various types of vehicles, which include motorcycles, cars, trucks, helicopters, boats, bicycles, and golf carts. There are also various weapons that can be utilized, such as grenades, molotov cocktails, and a variety of firearms.

Gameplay is similar to other Grand Theft Auto titles and consists of elements from its predecessors. To advance in the narrative, players must complete tasks, which are structured situations with defined goals. Outside of missions, players can freely roam the world. The world may be fully explored from the beginning. As missions are completed, the player will be granted access to areas in the world that were previously inaccessible. Players can interact with various characters of the world, and each character might have a different task that they ask the player to complete.

Graphics

The game features a variety of graphics options. There are three levels of detail for the graphics: normal, high, and very high. The game allows for gameplay from a first-person view or a third-person viewpoint. The game's graphics are detailed and the game world is more interactive than ever before. The world is much more interactive, and there are many side-missions and activities to undertake.

Replayability

The game has a variety of replayability features. The game features the "story mode", which allows the player to play as one of three protagonists.
