Rumor: Everwild Is Still Under Development

Almost a year has passed since any official information about Everwild, the forthcoming game from Rare, was shared. This game, first announced in 2019, has been shrouded in rumors of troubled development to the point of being considered an urban legend by some.

However, recent news indicates that Everwild's development continues. British developer Rare is recruiting a Video Producer to assist with video content for Sea of Thieves and Everwild. Such content is often created towards the end of production, suggesting that progress is being made on Everwild.

Details about Everwild remain scant, but whispers suggest it may be an adventure simulator devoid of battles. Earlier this year, VGC editor Andy Robinson hinted at similarities between it and Viva Piñata.
