Suicide Squad is Already 40% off on Steam

The release of Suicide Squad's latest video game last month was anticipated with high hopes, but the outcome has been less than stellar. Critics and gamers have given the title mixed reviews, and it has struggled to amass a significant number of players, prompting the publisher WB Games to acknowledge its below-expectation performance in the market.

In light of these developments, it's not unexpected to see the game receiving considerable price cuts. On Steam, the Standard Edition, typically priced at $69.99, is now available at a 40 percent discount, dropping its price to $41.99.

The Digital Deluxe Edition is also experiencing a similar reduction. Originally priced at $99.99, it can now be purchased for $59.99—a 40 percent decrease. This offer is not exclusive to Steam; the discount also applies to versions on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The promotional prices are available until March 21 for both editions on Steam and until March 14 for the Digital Deluxe Edition across the Xbox and PlayStation platforms.

A silver lining for the game might be on the horizon, however. Starting March 28, Suicide Squad's game's first season of post-launch content is scheduled to be released, introducing The Joker as a new character to play. This addition may potentially invigorate interest and engagement among players.
