Square Enix Announces Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster for Consoles

Square Enix has just announced that the classic Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection is headed to modern consoles, with the release scheduled for Spring 2023. The collection includes upgraded versions of the first six games of the Final Fantasy series and will be available for purchase both digitally and in two physical editions.

The digital version of the collection will be available for both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 and will be sold either separately or as a complete bundle. For those looking for a physical version of the collection, there will be two options to choose from. The first is the standard Final Fantasy I-VI Collection, which will be sold at a price of €74.99, while the more exclusive Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster -FF35th Anniversary Edition will be sold at a price of €274.99.

The Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster -FF35th Anniversary Edition will include a selection of exclusive items, such as a special art book, a soundtrack CD, a set of postcards, and a poster. It is also worth noting that both physical editions will be sold exclusively through the Square Enix Store and will be available in limited quantities.

It is exciting to see that Square Enix is bringing the classic Final Fantasy games to modern consoles. It is a great way to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the series and will give both new and old fans the opportunity to experience these classic games with upgraded visuals.
