South Korea Emerges as New Stage for League of Legends World Qualifying Series

Riot Games has declared a change in the location for the upcoming Worlds Qualifying Series for League of Legends. The tournament, which sees the fourth-place contender from LEC up against the LCS' fourth seed for the last Play-In Stage spot at Worlds, is moving in order to offer both teams more preparation time. Riot plans to host the event in the same country as Worlds itself. The new location, LoL Park in Seoul, will host the match on October 9, 2023.
