WhatsApp Communities Are Now Available to Users and Will Allow Better Management of Group Chats

WhatsApp strives to constantly expand its functionality in order to compete on equal terms with similar applications. And although this platform is often one step behind such giants in the field of communications as Telegram, this does not detract from its ambitions, and therefore the developers tirelessly add new improvements and additions to it. Back in April of this year, Communities were announced, which were created to better control and manage group chats. And now, after half a year, this functionality was added to WhatsApp, although only a few months later all users will have access to it.

Communities in the simplest sense are a handy tool for managing any related groups. This way, users will be able to globally manage all similar groups at the same time, thus, saving a lot of time. First of all, this will be convenient for administrators of several groups, who will be able to simultaneously make the necessary changes in them. It is also very convenient in the field of communications. Workgroups, school groups, managing neighborhoods, all this will now be logically organized and will not require unnecessary actions.

All these features are already well known to users of Discord and Facebook, but in WhatsApp, they will have the advantage of complete privacy and end-to-end encryption. If you already have Communities available, then a tab with them will appear on top of all chats in the Android version.

If you need to use Communities, you'll still like the new update, as it will include a number of features that will make using group conversations more convenient. Now group calls of up to 32 people will be possible and the possibility of conducting polls in the chat will be added. Also, the group size has now been increased from 512 to 1,024 users.

Do you like the concept of Communities? Are you planning to use them? Please share your opinion below.
